Grassy Mountain (Ut) | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Pic taken by MikerHiker on Grassy Mountains HP. Found a benchmark and register nearby and while the temp was below freezing all during the hike, we had some clean air, something you couldn't get in Salt Lake City, 70 miles to the east. The utah desert peaks are great to visit in the heart of winter, if the roads allow it. MikerHiker has recently put up a SP mountain page for this one (see link above)

Hasn't voted | Steve, just head for the Utah desert. Cool little peaks with just the right amount of snow. | | Posted Jan 23, 2009 11:13 am |

Voted 10/10 | This BEATS standing on the corner in Winslow,
Arizona, when the temperature is 100+ degrees.
I'm glad you didn't "open up" that age-old
debate topic:
"Is that haze, smog, or just fog below you ???"

Voted 10/10 | I find those in Oregon from time to time, what other states have you seen these in? I wonder if people pack these off? It would be kind of neat to have one, but I dont think I could condone removing one of these relics. | | Posted Dec 16, 2009 10:19 pm |
