Grays and Torreys

Grays Peak (14270', 9th) and Torreys Peak (14267', 11th) are the two tallest peaks in the Front Range and are usually climbed together. Because the trailhead is 2 hours away from the house, this was my first time in the area. We started at 6am (which seemed like a late start), summited Grays just after 9, then left Torreys summit at 11, and made it back to the car at around 1:15. I didn't think the trip was particularly difficult (except for the last stretch up Torreys) and was glad to knock of 2 14ers in one day. Only 50 to go!

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
