Great Sand Dunes and San Luis Lake
View of Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, CO. The Sangre de Cristo mountains are behind the dunes. The lake in the front is San Luis Lake. The dune field to the left of the larger, main one is the star dune complex. Mount Herard is just left of center, its peak hidden among the clouds. Imaged in August 2006.
