Classic..

The cables.. at times i have found the cable ascent to be more sketchy than the true face. nice pic..

It would be so easy to screw up on the cables, and I sure wouldn't want to get caught in one those queues. I got up real early and had a fab experience. Though I sure would like to get back to rock climbing.

Good Choice to get it done early. Trying to pass a whole bunch of hikers on those cables is dicey at best. Coming down with a pig on your shoulders and a bunch of people rushing up to summit the dome.. Fun times. ..Enjoyed your photos. Like the velino with the madonna holding the camera.

Half Dome was a long-dreamed of ascent. When I first saw a photo of the Dome, it imprinted in my psyche. So fortunate to have had the opportunity to realise it.

That's nothing, google "line of climber's Half Dome"..... I went up at 4:30am, nobody was on the cables then.
