That cameramust weigh a ton! I guess to take photos like yours I should toss my pocket camera and get one like yours.

Re: That cameraI must say I notice the "cod piece" more than the camera's weight. When I hike without my camera I feel light as a feather ( ; Keep your pocket camera or get far too complicated a camera like mine and work too hard!

Re: That cameraThanks for the advice. It would be a while before I would want to go for one of those big, complicated cameras. But, they sure are tempting.

Re: OlympicsWelcome! The Olympics offer a great variety of climbing opportunities. Easy to difficult. Check out your local library and pick up The Mountaineers "Climber's guide to the Olympic Mountains". The Mountaineers, "Olympic Mountains, a climbing guide"; or The Mountaineers, "Olympic Mountains Trail Guide". These are our go to guide books. I am jealous! Port Townsend is a great place to live!
