Heartsease

Heartsease (Viola tricolor) is a Europen wildflower from the family Violaceae. Several subspecies of it can be found in dry meadows up to the elevation of 1000 meters. They bloom from June to September. Color of each flower can vary even on the same plant. They can be purple, blue, yellow or white. Viola Tricolor is considered to be medicinal. It can be used to improve digestion and for the treatment of bladder and kidney problems. The Low Beskid - June 21, 2008.
