Hermann enjoying the view into Switzerland from the Hintere Jamspitze
The Hintere Jamspitze is a border peek in the Silvretta group. We came up from the northeast, from Austria. We won't be crossing into Switzerland, but we'll head generally towards the northwest from here, staying in Austria.
Our main objective for the day is the Dreiländerspitze, another border peak further west. We'll have to go around it first, via the Obere Ochsenscharte, to get to the base of the normal route.
