Hey, aliens are trying to...

Hey, aliens are trying to steal Mt. Hood. It's floating away! Okay, so not really. This shot taken from Silver Star Mountain to the northwest on November 11, 2004. The effect was caused by a temperature inversion--a dirty inversion in this case. And, no, there are no shots like this in the Hood gallery. So there.

I pity anyone that would smoke crack and THEN choose to spend his/her "high" viewing summitpost pictures. I can think of 521 other things I would do while I was high.

shot of Hood is worth 4 stars, even with a bit of haze! Good one. Just noticed this pic since I was reviewing the Hood page prior to going up.
