Hidden Lake Peaks 360° View
360 Degree view from the North summit of Hidden Lake Peaks, 7088 feet. There are so many peaks in this one I would not be able to name them all. Fortunately, Klenke has already done all the dirty work. Refer to his directional links below for more information. Composite image photographed September 23, 2006.

This is about as spectacular as panos get. I've never been up on HLP, but I can see it will have to be on my high-priority list. I especially enjoy the different aspect on Eldorado Peak. What a great mountain! Nice work!! -Bob

Thank you for such a nice comment. I hope you make it up there on a nice clear day. It's definitely worth the trip.

These are great! What do you use to stitch them together, and do you carry a tripod?

It looks like I forgot to respond to this question back in September. I'm sorry. Did I ever send you a PM? The program I use is called Autostich and it is available free for download. You can find it here:

Oh, and I don't use a tripod for any of my photos as of yet.

Thanks, I'm going to try that out on a couple of my pictures that didn't stitch together quite right using the software that came with my Olympus camera.

You'll find that it doesn't always work completely right. Sometimes I get doubles of things in the output image that were closer to the camera. Also, make sure you read the information document that comes with it to learn how to adjust some of the settings.

Thanks Paul. I know what you mean. I have a folder of other peoples photos from summit post that I have saved and each of them easily deserves 11 or 12 stars. Thanks very much!
