High Shoals Falls, NC

This surprisingly large group of falls is located in South Mountains State Park south of Morganton. The mile hike up is nice although steep and rugged at the falls. This is the main drop located at the top of the trail. Its about 70' high. The water was so powerful it was hard to get a shot off before the lens got soaked (thus the spots).
