Horseshoe Meadows

Horseshoe Meadows, found along the "Round The Mountain Trail" on the lower southwest side of Mount Adams. This is part of the southwest approach for the Skamania County Highpoint, which lies on the west ridgeline of Mount Adams. From here, I (as well as other past/future CoHPers) left the trail system and began my off-trail route-finding. Basically, as seen in this photo, I went on the left/west slope of the tiny hill in the center-background, and headed (as best as I could) directly towards the west ridge of Mount Adams seen in the far-left-background.
