| Standard Route. Great climb. Snowed 2' in 24 hours. Summitted in a whiteout & dug a cave at the lower lake to dry out. The log shows two guys coming up the SE ridge the day before. Met a few spring breakers on their way in, otherwise secluded. I love winter... | |

| Backpacked in to South Colony Lakes. Climbed to the Humbolt saddle, bagged Kitty Kat Carson, Obstrution Peak and finished the day with Humbolt. Awesome 14 hour day! | |

| Left our (Rich Faith & my) camp @ lower lake @ 13.25. As threatening weather moving in, took off by self shortly after saddle & booked it. Summited @ 15.00. Took off few minutes later. Waited for F, then Rich to get down. Great views (when had them) of the Crestones. Strenuous hike, phenomenal views! | |
