Why would it take 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours round trip from Mount Scott? It is only about 1 mile round trip. Is it severely dangerous or nasty to take 2 1/2 to 3 hours for 1 mile?
Thanks for your input. I changed the time to 2 hours for a casual hike. I think I had a greater time because the day I hiked I actually really took my time. Plus I didn't actually climb to the summit as the rocks were considerably big.
