I haven't seen many distant...

I haven't seen many distant shots of Rainier in the vast array of photos of it on this site so I thought I'd include one here. This is Little Tahoma and Mt. Rainier as seen from Tinkham Peak to the NNE on Sept. 13, 2003. The Emmons and Winthrop glaciers, Steamboat Prow, and Willis Wall feature prominently here.

Very welcome picture

Did you think to climb up Adams and be there at Dawn to imitate the effect of the recent Mont Blanc Picture takne from the Monte Rosa?

Check out the most recent page of Mont Blanc photos

Picture id # 54451 caused quite a bit of comment. One large mtn viewed from another large mtn at Dawn.

The view point is to the east of mt. Blanc.
