In One Fell Swoop!

In One Fell Swoop!

Is there such thing as a granite hoodoo? Anyway, this formation apparently lost its battle with gravity. Now, it rests peacefully in Arizona's Pinyon pine/Juniper Woodlands, just east of Payson. (Geology 'purists' do note that only a tall formation should be called a hoodoo; any other shape is called a 'hoodoo rock.') June 8, 2008

Aha,

I see you had some of that red paint left over from your other rock. Larry, you really have to stop defacing all those rocks around Payson.
Shame shame shame. .... : )

Re: Aha,

You're right! Oil-based paint is
spendy these days. With all that
money I spent on paint, I could
have used it for gasoline. Maybe
took a few swings around Mt. Rainier.
Maybe a visit to the Northern Rockies...

Think I'll paint the town red.
