I Talk to the Trees ..

"I talk to the trees, But they don't listen to me. I talk to the stars, But they never hear me. The breeze hasn't time To stop, and hear what I say; I talk to them all .. In vain ..." In the low light of a late Autumn evening, you can almost make out the individual evergreens (juniper with a few cypress) winding up (and down) the West Ridge of Arizona's Lee Mountain. And just like old Clint, I talk to them all ... but always IN VAIN. December 14, 2011
