I wasn't completely alone at...

I wasn't completely alone at The Wave that day. How long do you think this locust was? It was the length of one hand span. That's about 7 inches (18 cm). Scared the bejesus out of me when he flew off into the tree, whereupon I snuck up for this photo.

The exact same thing happened to me in Little Wild Horse Canyon in Utah.
