Punk Rock &

Punk Rock & "Rabbit Ears" therapy?

Punk Rock (spire) and "Rabbit Ears," ('aka' Oak Creek Spire), as seen from the west at an elevation of 4,800 feet. This is east of Courthouse Butte, at the southern end of the West Ridge of Arizona's Lee Mountain. I hope you're not too "boggled" by the description. If you are, just don't get too hot and bothered, because it never helps to get your blood pressure going up too high, or your shorts bunched up too tight. Relax, time is probably on your side. Drink a cold one, and contemplate your next move. It helps to know what direction the wind is coming from. And, please don't ask if I climbed it, because my needs were satisfied by just looking UP at it from below. Is the glass half empty or half full? Only YOU can decide, because the answer is blowing in the wind, my friend. The answer is blowing in the wind. January 16, 2009

Re: Without Question

I'm looking forward to everything.

Specifically, being able to get out of bed
tomorrow morning and trying not to trip over
my shoelaces.

: )))

Re: Without Question

I put it on the forum the other day but I'm afraid you may have missed it since you didn't seem to like my anti-DRY&RED comments, so greetings from a bit north of your Great Granny's Birthplace! BTW The big fellow told me he wondered whether that was hiking, scrambling, non-technical pre-sandstone climbing or just lying.

Re: Without Question

I have NOT did extensive research on the
subject, but at first inspection:

Those footprints can only be the work of ...

Sheeple.

Re: Without Question

Quite unlikely - as you once put it, sheeple "are comfortable with following" while these footprints, I've heard, were coming from the part of the park devoid of the crowds. Actually, they say they were coming out of the sea, which is linked to the Atlantic (Atlantis?)…

Re: Without Question

If that is the case, then "King Neptune" would
be very much at home in the park.

And, everybody knows King Neptune is GREEN!

Re: GREEN

OK, I finally understand what you mean by
the green inbetween. You're speaking of the
"perburbial" FIG LEAF, right ??? : )

Re: GREEN

Actually, I'm speaking of tiny seeds of Green bringing real life to stoney deserts, and giving hope Equilibrium will be restored one beautiful day.

Re: GREEN

Yes, all the "kingly formations" in my
collection will one day "sadly" be transformed into ... sand.

Re: GREEN

You're right - I have a specific "deadline"
to follow.

After the deadline passes, then I turn
into sand !

Re: GREEN

And then there'll be many more mysterious tracks in the sand all over the planet!

Re: GREEN

To create mysterious tracks or to NOT create
mysterious tracks ...

That is the question.
