Inside the Sentinel Pine Bridge

Looking inside the Sentinel Pine Bridge. This bridge is a small, pedistrian bridge built accross the Flume Gorge and the Pemigewasset River in New Hampshire. The Flume hiking trail in Franconia Notch State Park crosses the bridge. It was built in 1939 out of a large pine that blew down in the 1938 hurricane that hit New England. October 2000
