It takes a while, but views...

It takes a while, but views of Reynolds Peak are provided along the Reynolds Creek Trail. This one was taken at about the 2.5-mile point (c. 4,700 ft). The East Ridge of the Main Summit is extending down at left. This shot is the best I could find before plunging into heavy forest. I wouldn't see anything resembling mountains for another two hours as I made my way up the south fork of the creek. Sept. 2, 2001.
