From Možnica

We started early, from Log pod Mangartom, then by the road to Možnica and up.The path is wonderful, plenty of flowers, protected species and you can be reasonably certain to meet some jerebica /partridge?/which is also the name of the mountain. We almost stepped on the snake, been very careful long after. It was september 2008, the weather was clammy. It started to rain, when we were about the meeting point of slovenian and italian route. It stopped soon, but Borut stayed there and I went to the top.It is a very long way.The snow stayed in one place, I had to use my fingers like claws to hold on.We did not meet anyone for ten hours, a kind of creepy. There was not much of the view, a pity.

From Italy  Sucess!

Came from Val Rio del Lago / Jezerska dolina. This approach is easier than the Slovenian one (from Moznica) and also some shorter. We had an outstanding, great panoramic day. Stayed on top almost 2 hours.

From the Slovenian side we ascended Jerebica many years ago, in July, 1980.
