Just above Cuesta Blanca snowfield
This shows the general route on the lower part of Mercedario. The red rock of the Los Colorados area is clearly visible in the central part of the photo. Guanaquitos is just below Los Colorados in the partially hidden main valley that runs more or less left to right in this photo.
