Kahiltna Panorama from 17,200 ft

June 17th, 2008 - A panorama of the Kahiltna Glacier seen from the 17k Camp. Mt Hunter is to the left, Mt Foraker is to the right. You could see the curvature from the earth up here! The clouds are flat as if in an inversion due to a high pressure system that blew in the night before, shoving the clouds down low and leaving excellent conditions for summit day.
