Kanin / M. Canin from above Peravo saddle

From the summit of Kanin / Monte Canin, a strong ridge goes down towards the NW. It rises once more on the summit of Vrh Krnice and then descends down to Peravo saddle, where bivouac Marussich stands. This picture shows the part of the ridge just above Peravo saddle and the slopes above Resia valley. Over the ridge a hard marked and secured route goes (Alta Via Resiana).

It could have been hard to come down in the night, covered by clouds and blown by the wind...

Yes, I guess so. As I told you, people on the Slovenian mountain forum are claiming that the route is quite in a good condition. But still, one would need to try it. From a distance it looks very steep over there.
