Hasn't voted | Hi Sparki:
Thank you for your comments on so many of my shots. It took us 3 days to do these two peaks. On day one we climbed the southern slopes to a high saddle, on day two did Kandigan & Siyalan Peaks and descended the northern slopes to a mid point and on day three finished the descend. While the climb was a non-technical one, it sure was very physically demending. Descending some 10 000 vertical feet with a 35-40 Ib backpack over steep icy or slippery rocky slopes can obviously become quite challenging. Having twisted my ankle a few days prior to this made it so much more difficult. | | Posted Oct 29, 2006 7:40 pm |
