Parked at 10,900 ft on the Little Giant Basin road (stopped by snow). Hiked the remainder and climbed King Solomon's steep, grassy west slopes in crappy weather.
I thought I was going to hike Little Giant Peak, but a mountain Lion on top changed my mind. The Views on top was increadible. There was about 10 logs in the log book since 1979. Not a very popular mountain to hike. I probably would not climb it again due to it's elevation (or lack there of). The higher mountains block the view. I would recomend it though if your hiking Little Giant. It's probably the smallest 13er in the area.
