Tourist Creek Approach

We approached Klondike from the west, up Tourist Creek. Klondike was one obstacle, among many, we climbed during this trip. The approach was straight forward up Tourist Creek. It is not the funnest drainage to navigate but relatively straight forward. We spent the night just below the divide on the ridge separating Klondike from Pedestal and Flagstone.

East Ridge

The climb from the divide was easy and straight forward. I would classify it as an easy 3 at best. In reality it is a 2 on moderate snow. If approaching from J or Sourdough Glacier this would be much more of a commitment and mountaineering experience.
