Looks like you had a great trip and got to enjoy what may be our last perfect weekend this year (I hope its not, but it looks that way!)



In a few dozen years, it would be interesting to go back up there and match the glacier pics - if there's anything left of them by then.

Kololo Peaks? Where do you come up with these weird names? I have been over (slow) Lolo pass and so I think Ko means slow in indian talk. Maybe its spelled Sololo Peaks or Slololo Peaks. Oh BTW, nice page.

I need to check on the name origin but I highly suspect you're on the right track about it being an Indian word.



Couldn't really be Sololo even if I was solo, because I wasn't a slow solo.
