for a moment

I thought you posted Kralova Hola which represents the highest top on the east side of Vysna Boca pass. I was surprised as I do remember some antennas and stuff on top despite never having been in the Low Tatras yet. Till I checked the google map of this peak's coordinates, and ignored all of this other kraKova Hola (anything relates to Cracow ?), which despite without an arch sounds as attractive as Ohniste. I hope to visit the area one day...

Re: for a moment

Krakova hola is much less popular with Slovak people too, while Slovak bears seem to like both massifs.:) I haven't found any information about the origin of its name; it seems it must stem from "krak/krk", which may even be similar in meaning to the English "crack": See this list. The area has plenty of diverse attractions, for kids as well - I guess Mikolaj wouldn't get bored either, so you're all welcome.:)
