Kriváň (2495 m), its E wall and saddle Špára (2176 m) seen on a foggy winter morning. Glacial valley has the name Važecká dolina. There are no more glaciers in Tatras since last ice age. Shepherds used to depasture cows and sheep in the valley until national park was found in 1948. Date of the photo: 22nd december 2007
