From Lyell Canyon
Camped in Lyell Canyon. Scrambled up Kuna Creek to the crest and traversed from Kuna South to Kuna North and over Mammoth Peak. Finished down Mammoth's west face and back up Lyell Canyon. Great views and a nice scramble with no other people seen the entire day.
A couple years ago. Scrambled up Mammoth Peak's fun north ridge and then traversed south to Kuna North. An outstanding day out with a fun partner.

Great scenery
Climbed as part of a two day outing with Mammoth Peak, Donohue Peak, and Gem Peak. Kuna Creek Basin was very scenic, and no mosquitos. Would like to head back there sometime.
