Route Climbed: Eastern approach Date Climbed: November 5th, 2005
We climbed Kutelo peak from it's eastern side, from Vihren/Kutelo saddle. First we reached the Kutelo II (2906 m) summit and after that also Kutelo I (2908 m) summit. Weather was not so good, temperature under 0 degrees Celsijus. The view from the summit was good, 30 minutes after that weather became better, sun came out from the clouds. We enjoyed in incredible view to Vihren peak and eastern part of Pirin massif. Also, we continued our route on Koncheto ridge, which conected Kutelo with Banski Suhodol and Banovi Dupki peaks. From Koncheto ridge you can enjoy in amazing deepnes of Pirin massif. It was unforgetable mountain experience!
