Lady Mtn. (the high, red-capped peak in center, foreground) from the summit of Mountain of the Sun. Lady's standard route essentially goes straight up (zig-zagging some) the visible face directly below the summit. The light-colored summit to the immediate left of Lady Mtn. is Jacob Peak, one of Zion's Three Patriarchs. The two peaks are separated only by a shallow saddle...though the climb up to Jacob's summit from the saddle requires some exposed technical climbing. (Oct 8, 2005)
