I've been in between.

Re: The Red OneJust two questions:
1. Are C21 schizoid men going to unearth the corner rock of the dying planet in Alaska?
2. Will a navy ship come to pick me up from where I've been much too long and what color will the star be?

Re: The Red One...The star type will be like that found on
Proxima Centauri, a Red Dwarf.
I don't know when your ship will be coming in; I hope it's very soon.
Those "Schizoid Men" are on a clandestine
mission right now ... only a handful of
people actually know what they're doing at
any given moment in time.

Re: The Red One...Cool Larry of AZ(US),
Thanks for refreshing my going memory (my first thought was "Twin Peaks"), but then I clicked the link and could remember that year, and even one year back when craft displaying red stars came to Prague while I was visting the city.
Cheers

Re: The Red One...Yes, the Prague Spring ...
T'was back in the times of the Cold War.
When Prague was experiencing "spring," I was
freezing my butt off in northern Utah, trying
to keep the drive clear of snow so my
father could arrive safely home from work.
When the Red Dwarf-Star becomes a Red Giant,
then we shall all be WARM once again !!!

Re: The Red One...When the tanks arrived that summer day, I was frightened they'd take my father back beyond the Arctic circle since he was trying to explain to the soldiers that they hadn't come to fight fascism as they were told.

Re: The Red One...Time marches on ... like an Army of Grim Reapers intent on reaping a grand harvest of
the minutes and hours ...
I have tried to turn back the hands of time;
but it cannot be done! As mortal beings
living on a biological planet, we are ALL
prisoners at the mercy of Father Time.
It's okay to be afraid and to express the
emotion of fear. The ghosts of the past will
haunt us all, but we must continue on the
path to peace-of-mind upon the summit's ridge.
It's our final (pinnacle) of hope ...

Re: The Red One..."Peace" means different things to different
people. Most of us have the ability to accept
peace in our daily lives, even though we are
"forced" to defend ourselves against a force
we do not always understand.
Actually, Nature has been at war with humanity for a very long time. I don't see
the war ending until the "ships" come in.

Re: Cool...Mummy is the word.
The sands of time, even though beautiful, can be rather creepy at times.
