Being close to my home, I often get up to the View Benchmark area once a month. The last visit was on May 25th and despite the springtime calendar date, winter was still trying to hang on a bit longer. I made a hike over to the adjacent hill, Pk 6562 for some different angles and some shots back toward to View BM's summit. This album contains some of the pics from that visit.

Update: I've added a few from June 16th, pics that show spring on the mountain

...I was just up the road from you in early June! I posted a few View Benchmark photos, like this one, to the primary mountain page.

That is great that you were able to visit this one. Was all the snow gone when you were there? It was melting fast the last visit (as shown in the pics in this album). You can almost see my house from the triangulation structure. Thanks for sharing your pics.

Dean,

By the time of my visit there wasn't a flake of snow left at the altitude of View Benchmark.

Ha, if I had known your house was nearby I would have stopped by for a beer. Errr...wait, this is Utah - make that a caffeine-free Diet Coke. ;)

Cheers,

Sarah
