Yeah you haven't finished, but here's a vote to spur you on the way.
Consider starting the page as a "custom object" and then transferring it when you are done. The clock starts ticking when the page is defined as a custom object (in terms of the time it's in "what's new"), but at least you won't have people giving you snide comments if you don't finish within a day or two.
