Re: Very niceThe legendary Iranian mountaineer, Leila Esfandyari fell to her death on 22nd July 2011 while descending Gasherbrum-II (8035 m), the fifth highest Peak of the Karakoram Range, Pakistan. She successfully climbed the Gasherbrum-II and after few minutes while descending her foot slipped and fell down about 300 meters. Once she had said before that “if I fell, let me remain where I am”. According to her wishes, her body is still rests in the height mountain of Gasherbrum-II, Karakoram Range, Pakistan.
May God give her eternal rest & may her soul rest in peace!

it is only thanks to your post that I found this picture and then the story of Leila.
You're right she was really a beautiful woman, beautiful and smart.
We must always remember women so exceptional.
