Lenin summit

Lenin summit

The little pole which marks the summit of Pik Lenin (7134m). Earlier on the summit was full of Soviet era artifacts, but they got stolen by some souvenir hunters some years back. Nearby (10m) there's another summit, which has exactly the same elevation. There you can find a memory plaque of a young Kazakh climber who died close to the summit some years back.

Look very unspectacular...

... for a summit of this elevation.

Re: Look very unspectacular...

It is.
The summit(s) are two small highpoints on a flat ridge. The last part is a serie of rolling hills with scree and snow.
I can imagine it hard to find the true summit if it's cloudy.
