Re: fine !!!I checked out your photo of Finale Ligure. It's a great photo. Great Race is acyually sandstone. I wish we had granite in our area, but we have to travel several hours for that.

Re: fine !!!Yes, they are very similar. I have also seen sandstones in one area that were totally diferent from sandstones in other areas. The same goes for granite and limestone.

Good stuffOne of the best routes in the area---too bad it's not twice as long---but then again, it's worth doing both variations. (Oh, and has anyone else noted that the picture is flipped? Took me a minute to get my bearings...)

Re: Good stuffLooking at it more carefully I see that you're right. This photo is flipped due to the people who scanned it for me. Unfortunately, it's too late to fix it.
