Great scenery, nader ...!

Reminds me of the Arizona strip/ Colorado River/ Lees Ferry area.

I need to go there again with my wife. Was there lots of water ??

Re: Great scenery, nader ...!

Thank you,

I am not aware of any source of water in Colorado National Monument. Colorado River is at some distance to the north of this park in the city of Grand Junction.

I need to go to bottom of Grand Canyon, Lees Ferry etc.

There is water in the Monument. Ute Canyon and No Thoroughfare Canyons (upper end) have springs in them.

Re: Great scenery, nader ...!

I did Ute and No Thoroughfare in April and saw some water. Will there be water in August and September?

Re: Great scenery, nader ...!

I have always seen some water in there (I used to live by those canyons), but during an extreme drought, some might dry up? Only the spring in the far upper No Thoroughfare Canyon would have water then. Ute Canyon will probably have some water in the riparian section.
