I could have swore

up and down that this was Big Hebe.

Is that snow on the ground, or is it salt???

Re: I could have swore

Big Hebe is Big, negatory on the snow factor I'm not sure what that white patch is... probably some salt. There is salt everywhere! It's insane w/ salt out there! You could bottle that stuff and sell it. Could you imagine... Death Valley salt on your kitchen counter. We would be rich my friend. Well somethin to ponder. Alright my man.... adios

Gee Wiz Jordan ...

You're a genius (a very smart man) for coming
up with that idea! Can you imagine getting
your hands on all that green???

With all that cash, a person could buy their
own piece of Death Valley. Take care, man!!!

Re: Gee Wiz Jordan ...

I'm pretty sure those are tufts of grass growing in the volcanic landscape.

Re: Gee Wiz Noondueler...

Yes, they do LOOK like some type of dried grass or desert brush co-existing within a very harsh & arid landscape.

Yours truly was just "funning" with the
Jordan Man !!! : ))

That's some tough (tuff) grass growing out in
those awesome salt flats !!!

Re: Gee Wiz Noondueler...

I sense a cage fight comming on here, when it comes to grass tufts and salt flats these can be pretty touchy subjects.

Re: Gee Wiz Noondueler...

You can call me Cactus Jack, but please don't call me "late for dinner!" : )))

That's hilarious! What's the "white areas"
to the right/left of the awesome crater ???

Is that volcanic ash??? PLEASE excuse my
"ASH" if its not; I haven't been there for
several years, and TIME is takin' its toll
and gettin' the best of me. : (

But, all excuses aside ...
I LOVE YOU, MAN !!! : )

Re: Gee Wiz Noondueler...

I'm not sure what the "white areas" is! I could be busted on this one! It could possibly be little pockets of salt. I was up in them parts 10 years back pardner, but don't rememember that much. Maybe it's "oldtimers disease"!

Left on the seashore of sleep.

You thought you really KNEW."
