Change of plans
I was hikng up Mammoth Mountain's Dragon's Back trail Saturday morning, September 19 and it was nasty windy. I got about a mile up and met some people who just came from the top. They said the 25-30 mph wind was relentless all the way! I decided to forego the punishment and turned around to do something else.After lunch in Mammoth Lakes I headed south to Little Lakes Valley for the afternoon. It was a good call.
