| Summer meeting of the Slovak mountaineering club ( www.svts.sk ) took place last weekend at Sliezsky dom chalet/hotel. Weather was very unpleasant, so we decided to achieve rather low ambitious goal - Litvorovy stit from Velicka valley through Litvorove sedlo and back the same way. | |

| Very long route but in wonderful and wild scenery of Bielovodska and Kacacia valley.Slippery rocks specially on Gerlachovskie Spady,then snowy,a little steep couloir to Litvorove sedlo(pass).Short and nice ridge to the top,perfect dry rock.Descent to Vielicka valley and back via Polsky Hreben. After long way down to Bielovodska valley funny meeting with TANAP's guard who lift us up almost to the parking place on Lysa Polana.Climbed with Michal -second ascent: 22.08.2011 via North East ridge After descent from Litvorovy Zwornik we just lost easy path..;)Finally we climbed Litvorovy stit via NE ridge without any traverse.Very big,exposed and smooth stones.It took us about 2,30 houres instead of 30min.We saw correct way from the top;) Anyway we had good fun on this ridge.Wonderful panorama. We hope to finish Martin's route as soon as possible from Litvorove sedlo.Climbed with Natalia | ||
