A nice quick route above the treeline. Really enjoyed seeing all the high peaks of the Dacks and the Whites. A beauty!

I agree this route was strenuous - it was a nice rocky climb (non-technical).
very cold, but worth the view at the top. The last few hundred feet were the most fun!
Descended this route since me and my dad didn't want to descend wet rock. Defiantly a long trail to the road. It could get really monotonous at times.
I used to live in Stowe, Vermont. Grew up skiing on this mountain and hiking all over during the summer.
I have been up and down this section of the Long Trail a number of times, the most recent of which was on my trek along the entire lenght of the Long Trail.
