Looking Down from the Crater Rim

Looking Down from the Crater Rim

I took this picture when we reached the crater rim on el Pico de Orizaba. The summit was near! The clouds were starting to roll in and by the time we started descending, we experienced some rain/snow. It would be the first precipitation the area had seen in a very long time. For my remaining three days in Mexico after that, there was some rain everyday. Photo by Laszlo Hulicsko, March 23, 2006

Re: cheers to you

Thank you. Yes, I have had the blessing of many great experiences in the mountains and elsewhere... somedays, it's easy to forget that. Here's wishing you continued amazing moments in the mountains as well!

Re: i got to tell ya

Thank you... and I have to tell you that I was just looking at your pictures of Vallecitos Peak and it has given me some ideas for when I make it down to South America someday! Fantastic!
