Looking down on Colchuck Lake...
Looking down on Colchuck Lake from near the top of Aasgard Pass at close to 7200 feet. Colchuck is one of those lakes with an aquamarine coloration due to active glacier activity and the resulting run off. The Colchuck glacier seems to be getting smaller each year which is true of most of the glaciers in the Cascades. 8-30-02 Canon S-100 digital pic

They call it "glacial milk!" No cows involved! Have a good one, Dean. Nice photo!
