Looking towards the Middle-Medio Truchas Ridge and sub-peak from a meadow in the Rio Quedmado Basin below the peaks, deep in the Pecos Wilderness.

Re: Not sure but...

North Truchas is actually over my left shoulder in this shot (under under the mid-morning sun, making a decent photo in that direction almost impossible). I think the ridge in the distant left is the ridge between Medio and Middle, but neither peak is in sight. The pyramid to the right is simply a sub-peak of Middle Truchas, but it's so steep from the meadow floor, that it obscures the view of Middle Truchas Peak.

Did see three hikers on the ridge to left heading west towards Middle Truchas. Quite impressive.

Re: Not sure but...

In other words, we are looking south, south-west in the photo.

Re: Not sure but...

The other thing that I find interesting, is that you can see this meadow in the recent picture of Quemado Basin you posted. It is the eastern most meadow short of tree line, in the lower right corner of your picture, looking south to the area not in your picture. You can also see the lake on the far right edge of your shot, tucked next to a grey boulder field. Great looking campsite on the far western end of lake (already established, though a bit close to water forleave no trace). We camped under small waterfall near the lake in another previously used campsite. Did not see anyone till our walk out.
