| Kessler, Shaylee, Kim and I decided to climb Lookout Peak on June 6 2009. We parked at the trailhead and did the 8 mile loop over the summit of Lookout Mountain. We went up the North Ridge to the summit and enjoyed a nice lunch before and coming down the South Fork of Buffalo Creek. It was good weather with no rain, but it was very windy on the ridge. We completed the 8-mile loop in 5 ½ hours including lunch time, which wasn’t bad for a five year old. | |
