| Loop offers good aerial views of the park. Short but vigorous off-trail scramble to reach the summit is worthwhile. | |

| Hiked up from Lost Horse Mine parking lot, going the long way around, came back the same way but headed off cross country for Keys View and went up the summit to the north of the parking lot. Went back the same way but followed a wash north before I got to my departure point to shorten the route a little. I wasn't really thinking before I left, should have taken the shorter side of the Lost Mine loop to the first summit, also only took 1 quart of water, had to yogi a Poweraid at Keys View Parking Lot but got back OK. Had food and more water on my bike which I had left there. Total trip time was 5 hours. | |

| Last HPS peak of the area after finishing a full day of climbing. Surprisingly quick but with fantastic views. Rounded out a great 3 day trip that included Queen, Bernard, Little Berdo, Quail, Warren, and Inspiration. | |

| One of the more disappointing outings. The storm was supposed to dissipate and I was looking forward to some nice sunset photography but the peak stayed in clouds. Windy and whiteout conditions on the top. Lots of people walking to the mine which just looks like a pile of trash partly surrounded by ugly chain link fence. | |

| A nice hike, with great views from the summit. There was a recent fire in the area (5/09) that burned about 450 acres - I saw some signs of yucca regenerating. | |

| Nice little peak with a good view of the Coachella Valley. If you are visiting Lost Horse Mine, it is well worth the shot side trip to the peak. | |
