A fun day

I was finally able to get out to a 12er on June 19th. We took the standard Super Gully Route and had great conditions until we reached the summit ridge. there we found large cornices for the entire length of the ridge. The snow was softening up and was pretty unstable. Sadly we ended up a few hundred yards short of the true summit but thankfully made it down safely.
